diy room spray using anthro blends

Let's recreate your favorite scents with this anthro inspired diy room spray recipe. It's perfect for freshening up your living room, bedroom, bathroom or anywhere in your home. Best of all, we are making a natural room spray two ways using the Capri Blue Volcano fresh scent for spring and the Anthro Autumn blend for the perfect fall vibes.

Equipment

  • 1 glass measuring cup
  • 1 small funnel

  • Measure out 1/2 ounce of clear alcohol (vodka) and pour in the glass spray bottle using a small funnel if needed.
  • Add 1 1/2 oz. of distilled water or boiled & cooled water to the glass spray bottle.
  • Lastly, add your essential oils to give your room spray that signature anthro scent. For the 2oz size bottle, add between 12-15 drops of essential oils. For the 4oz size bottle, I would suggest between 20-30 drops of essential oils. (See the recipes below and in the notes for the Capri Blue Volcano and Anthro Autumn blends and essential oils needed.)
  • Once all the of the ingredients are added, you can screw on the spray nozzle and shake to mix.
  • Each time you use the natural room spray, you will want to shake before using to ensure the ingredients are mixed well.

Notes

Before you get started, if you are going to use boiled water like I do, then you will want to boil it right away. You can boil it a glass measuring cup in the microwave or boil the water on your stovetop. I typically will boil 2-6 ounces of water at a time, just in case something happens or I want to make another recipe!  In order for the boiled water cool faster, place it in the fridge or freezer while getting the other ingredients and supplies ready.
Capri Blue Volcano 
  • 4 drops grapefruit
  • 4 drops northern lights black spruce
  • 3 drops lime
  • 2 drops orange
  • 2 drops lemon
Anthro Autumn
  • 4 drops christmas spirit
  • 4 drops bergamot
  • 3 drops clove
  • 3 drops grapefruit
