Instructions

  • If you are using boiled water, then you will want to do that first so it can start to cool right away. You can boil your 2 ounces water on the stovetop or microwave the water in a glass measuring cup.
  • Measure out 2 teaspoons of sweet almond oil to the glass bowl. Add 1 1/2 oz. of distilled water or boiled & cooled water to the glass bowl and mix.
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon of castile soap the the bowl and mix again. The mixture should go from water and oil separated to a white emulsified mixture.
  • Pour 8 drops of rosemary essential oil and 8 drops of peppermint essential oil to the mixture. Stir.
  • Put the small funnel on the glass spray bottle. Pour the diy hair detangler spray into the funnel, pausing if the mixture needs a few seconds to go into the spray bottle. You may also need to slightly lift the funnel, depending on the neck of your glass bottle.
  • Add the spray nozzle to your glass spray bottle and this hair dangler spray is ready to use!

Notes

I usually boil about twice as much (or more) water that I need, just in case something happens or I decide to make something else with it! In order for the boiled water cool faster, place it in the fridge or freezer while measuring out the other ingredients.
